This is a handmade organic cotton hoodie featuring an upcycled vintage Japanese kimono fabric panel.
Each piece is crafted from a single kimono, traditionally worn in Japan, giving new life to a textile rich in history and symbolism.

This kimono fabric is decorated with seasonal flowers such as chrysanthemums, maple leaves, and small blossoms scattered across the surface. In Japanese culture, these motifs represent the changing seasons, longevity, and an appreciation of nature’s fleeting beauty.

The soft, flowing composition is typical of traditional kimono design, where patterns are arranged to feel light and continuous rather than rigid or symmetrical.

What makes this piece special is its gentle, feminine colour palette and delicate detailing. It has a calm, elegant feel while still being easy to wear as an everyday statement piece.
