Our Sustainability Promise

Our Sustainability Promise

As a small, independent business, we believe that caring for people and the planet should be at the heart of everything we do. From the fabrics we choose to the way our garments are made, we strive to create beautiful pieces that have a positive story behind them.

Ethical Production

Our original print garments are made from 100% organic cotton in a small, family-run factory in India where many talented women work. The factory follows high ethical and environmental standards, ensuring safe working conditions and fair pay for all its staff. We are proud to collaborate with people who share our values and who treat every piece with care and respect.

Upcycling & Japanese Craftsmanship

Alongside our printed collections, we create unique upcycled pieces in our home studio in the Welsh countryside — a place surrounded by beautiful views and inspiration. These designs combine vintage clothing and traditional Japanese kimono fabrics, giving new life to materials that might otherwise remain hidden away in old drawers in Japan.

We use every piece of fabric mindfully, ensuring that almost nothing goes to waste. Offcuts and obi fragments are turned into one-of-a-kind accessories, making each item truly individual.

Respect for Tradition and Nature

Our mission is to bring the beauty of forgotten Japanese textiles back into the world while creating fashion that honours both tradition and sustainability. Each piece tells a story — of craftsmanship, care, and conscious creativity.

We are always learning and exploring new ways to reduce waste and improve our environmental impact. If you have any suggestions or ideas, we would love to hear from you.
