A completely one-of-one piece, handmade by Groovy Japanese Boutique using an authentic vintage Japanese silk haori featuring five traditional Japanese mon (family crests).

Known as itsutsu-mon, five crests represent the highest level of formality in traditional Japanese dress. These original details have been carefully preserved as part of the garment’s history and identity.

The deep black silk has an elegant natural sheen, while cream-gold woven panels made from vintage Japanese obi fabric run along the sleeves and sides, creating a bold contemporary contrast against the traditional silhouette.

Every GROOVY REWORKED piece is individually designed and handmade from an original vintage garment, making each one completely unique.
