Golden Medallion Kimono Organic Cotton Hoodie MLsize

A one-of-a-kind upcycled hoodie, handmade using soft organic cotton and a piece of vintage Japanese kimono fabric.

Each kimono panel is carefully sewn onto the hoodie with gold thread, adding a subtle decorative detail that complements the beauty of the original textile.

Every year in Japan, many beautiful kimonos and traditional fabrics are discarded or left unused. I wanted to give these special textiles a new life by mixing traditional Japanese design with modern, everyday clothing.

Each piece is handmade individually, and because every vintage kimono fabric is different, no two hoodies are ever exactly the same. Once a piece is gone, it cannot be recreated in exactly the same way.

If I still have some of the same kimono fabric available, custom orders may be possible. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to ask about a different size or a custom piece.
