Today we traded across two locations — Maiko at St Nicholas Market, and Dan at Tobacco Factory. The morning was very quiet, but after around one o’clock the streets began to fill. It felt as though many people were easing into the day after a run of end-of-year parties.
We’ve been at the Christmas markets every weekend, and while the festive atmosphere is all around us, there hasn’t been much time to step back and enjoy it ourselves. As the season draws to a close, the idea of taking a short break is starting to feel quite welcome.
We finished a little earlier than usual today and stopped by Costco on the way home to pick up a few Christmas essentials. Tomorrow we’ll be back at the market again, ready for another day to close out the season.
