Slow Production, Real Craft

I’ve been waiting for sample pieces from the sewing workshop in India since December, and they’re still in progress.

Working internationally — especially with small, family-run factories — always requires patience. Timelines move differently, and communication can take time. It’s not the fast-paced system that large brands operate within.

But there is a reason I continue to work this way.

The workshop I collaborate with focuses on careful construction and quality finishing. The pieces take longer, but they are made with real attention.

Good things, especially when made by hand, rarely move quickly.

I’m looking forward to finally seeing the finished samples, and I know the wait will be worth it.
