Closing the Christmas Market Season

Closing the Christmas Market Season

We brought this year’s Christmas market season to a close yesterday, after trading continuously since November. Over the course of the season, the two of us traded at 21 markets, and we were truly grateful to see so many people choose pieces such as our upcycled obi hoodies and other Japanese-inspired items as meaningful gifts.

On the final day, there was a mix-up with the market layout, and the space I had booked was already set up by another trader. I moved to a different spot and, while I later wished I had stood my ground more firmly, kind neighbouring traders made the transition much easier. Despite the unexpected change, we were able to finish the season calmly and on a positive note.

Our next markets will be on 4 January at Tobacco Factory, followed by 9 and 10 January at St Nicholas Market. We’ll continue to be in Bristol most weekends after that, so please do come and say hello again if you’re nearby.

To everyone who supported us this year by visiting, chatting, and shopping with us — thank you sincerely.

We wish you a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year.
