I’m back in the UK and straight into work.
Yesterday I returned home, and today I was already replying to Etsy messages and catching up on orders. There is something grounding about coming back to the studio after time away.
At the same time, a new shipment arrived from Japan — and it could not have been better timed.
Furisode, haori, silk gowns, and sukajan jackets.
And honestly… the pieces that arrived are exceptional.
The colours, the fabric weight, the details in the embroidery — each one carries presence. These are not fast-fashion pieces. They are garments with history and character, ready for a new life.
Over the next few days, I’ll be carefully preparing them for the online store.
It feels good to be back.
