Today was our first Tobacco Factory Market of the year. From the morning right through to packing up at the end of the day, the rain was relentless, and the market felt especially quiet as a result.
Even so, there were new conversations and familiar faces, and those moments made the day worthwhile. Days like this are a reminder that markets aren’t only about numbers — they’re also about connection, presence, and showing up even when conditions aren’t ideal.
It wasn’t the busiest day, but it felt like a meaningful way to begin the year.
