Today was one of those days where everything took far longer than expected. A painfully slow computer meant that editing product photographs and uploading them to the online store took the entire day — truly hard to believe and, at times, quite frustrating.
That said, the day ended on a high note. After more than a month in production, a new set of pouches made from beautiful gold-printed Japanese fabric — sourced in Japan and sewn in India — is finally finished and now available in the online store. Being able to share them at last made the long hours worthwhile.
They were carefully made by a small, family-run sewing workshop in India, whose craftsmanship continues to impress me. After thirteen years of producing clothing in India and Thailand, I can confidently say that their stitching is among the finest I’ve worked with.
The morning light in Wales was beautiful, but the day stayed cold and rainy — a reminder that not every day flows easily, even when the work is deeply rewarding.
